Side plastic strip problem

Hi, I'm having a rather basic issue with my vy berlina. The plastic strip has come unglued near the driver
Side door and keeps getting stuck when I open the door. I have tried re-gluing the thing many times with
Areldite and different types of plastic glue and nothing seems to stick once it's in the sun for a bit. Is there
Anything else I can try or a specific glue I should try.
