I have a vy storm it's that has a getrag m35 in it, and it's making some pretty loud whining noises in first and second gear.

So I headed online to see if I could grab a Reconditioned gearbox.

I found out that the m35 was the same as the 260, but a reconditioned m35 is $1500+ and a reconditioned 260 is only $500

Are the 2 gearboxes inter changeable with my ute?
