Default VX/VY Tail shaft - Bearings

    Hey guys,

Does anyone know how much labour someone would charge to change over the Centre tailshaft bearing?

Just want an idea of if i should get another tailshaft and change that myself or get someone to do the bearings..

I'll ring places Monday but if anyone has an idea let me know.

    Cheers.

Your brother can do it, on the roadside. Just ask him. Im sure he'll do it for a few bad words and some beer.

Haha i could do it myself but major CBF and no time.. it's getting worse and worse quickly so i wanted it done during the week :P

@ MR_VX: Yeah, I saw that on ebay earlier. I was thinking of getting it and if worse comes to worst just give it to the mechanic and get them to fit it while I'm at work.

No worries about it guys, ended up being the rubber coupling which was destroyed, all fixed now :P Easy to change rather than a bearing.

Good one DevilDRake. Great to see you fixed it.
So how much did it end up costing you to have that replaced?
And what symptoms did your Commodore have with the old busted rubber coupling? Was it noisy?
