Default Will 245/35/20 fit my VYS? On SSSL

Just wondering if 245/35/20 will fit on my lowered VYS with Ultras in the rear and SSSL in fronts, plus all the guards have been rolled

I only need two and was wondering if its better to have them on front or rear?

I heard that there better on the front. I usually have 245/30/20 but there too expensive.

Here's a pic of the ride:

The 245 will fit in the guard, they're standard with 235 and there's more than 10mm of clearance. What's the offset on the wheels though. That will determine if it clears the guards

ive always had 245's, its just if 35 instead of my usual 30's will fit. Bob jane has them for $145 atm instead of $239 for 245/30.

Indeed, offset will determine. At a guess though, generic 20" wheels with an 8" or 8.5" width will have a mid to high 40 offset, chances are it'll be fine.

On the rear. Front potentially you'll have issues with guard clearance turning by increasing the diameter (albeit a very small amount)

You should run the same size all round though.

Are you running coil overs on the front because if you have normal struts on the front 35 series might foul the spring seat check you clearence before getting the 35's or drop down a witdth as you go up in profile like 225 or 235/35x20 as long as the load rating is 93 or more.

35's wont fit on front, will fit on the back though. Remember your speedo will be out.

To keep the same rolling diameter and avoid clearance issues you'll need 225/30R20

I also dont recommend cheap tyres. If you cant afford decent rubber you cant afford to run 20s.

Tyres determine your braking and vehicle stability, not something to skimp on.

There only going on for a couple months until my new rims come. Plus the price you pay for those ebay ones plus delivery is the same as the tyre shop anyway.

i had 245/35/20s for a while. they were s**thouse and i got rid of them.
rubbed on the rear guards if i had anyone sitting in the back. they hit the struts on the front. and when you brake while your turning they rub like crazy on the front.
just fork out for the 245/30/20s

plus your wheels will look smaller because there is more sidewall on your tyre.

Again the correct size is 225/30R20.

This will retain the same dimensions as the factory specs preventing the speedo being out and no chance of tyre fouling an anything.

Another bonus is an even lower profile which will look the part as well.
