Hi just a general question i have a vy ss 2004 s2 its stock from factory im thinking of putting on the ss inductions air flow meter WOULD THIS MAKE A DIFRENCE IN POWER ?I ALSO WANT TO ADD a cold air intake but i dont know which one is better the big mouth or the growler FROM SS INDUCTIONS ? IF ANYONE HAS ONE FOR SALE LET ME KNOW . CHEERS
Hey mate I have a vy Ss s2 also. Don't waste your time with Ss inductions. Save your coin and go mafless. Better economy, power, response. My car felt completely different after a mafless tune. You can get mail order ones for like $400, and a custom one will cost you up to $1000 but it will give you loads more than the Ss airflow meter and intake put together. I've also heard of people losing power with the Ss inductions intakes.
The airflow meter will not add horsepower. I would steer clear of the overpriced underrated products (just my opinion).
If you were wanting an cold air intake look into a cheaper option like the mace cai (forum sponsor), then smooth out the flow with an intake pipe made by HSV/yella terra and also if your really keen on changing the maf look into one from a VZ model its slightly larger
or you could get a decent OTR and tune
I just bought a ss induction afm and hsv induction pipe for $200 im going to try them out , i had to change the intake pipe because when i bought the car it had a fiberglass cams racing pipe on it and it kept poping off . Ill see how it goes , with a mafless tune ill need to get that dyno tuned is that right ?
Welcome to the internet where people have opinions that you might not like
Atleast when you sell the SS Reductions item, you'll have some more money towards your real intake.(An OTR)
