Hello All
well i own a Acclaim wagon 2003 V6 and for the past few days it has developed a few issues which the Mechs here are not able to Understand Please help me figure them out
1) it started to pour Allot of fuel in to the Cylinders so i got the Injectors Tested and Cleaned and they turned out to be fine and still its doing this i have recently changed all the plugs/leads and found out that they all had turned black and were wet and had a smell of petrol and the tail pipe also smells like petrol..
2) After a long time if i start it it starts rough and gives Some smoke grayish White smoke to be exact and it does not grab any exhilaration untill its completely warmed up
3) it has also blown a few plugs/leads maybe because of the excess fuel
4) I Have Grayish white smoke when i rev the engine till 4000 Rpm multiple times
what i have done so far
have got the Injectors serviced
have Changed All the Leads/ Plugs
Have Changed all Lead Wires
Have Changed a Coil cuz it was weak
Have got the Air intake Assembly completely Serviced
Observations
The Oil is clean No Sign of Water
The Coolant is Clean no sign of Oil in it
The oil cap is not whitish or creamy
and can someone please elaborate where the Petrol Pressure REg is Situated in this Engine and how it could be changed ??
Well these Cars are very cool and Awesome Cars but they are not so much Recognized in The Arab world Specially Where i live because of these Sudden problems which the dumb Mechs are not able to understand and the Owner ends up spending thousands and still is not able to fix it
Please Help me by sharing ur Experiences Thanks Alot
Have you tried O2 sensors? if these are gone the engine will run rich although i doubt it would run as rich as what your describing
How many kms are on the car?
Does it use any oil?
Greyish white smoke is usually a sign of oil burning.

well my car has 145000 kilometers and is looked after well and i am constantly checking for decrease in oil but havent found any and can u please describe to me where the O2 sensors are situated so that i can attempt a clean !!
and can someone please elaborate where the Petrol Pressure Regulator is Situated in this Engine and how it could be changed ??
O2 sensors are situated near the bellhousing on the exhaust manifolds.. you cant clean them you have to get new ones
How old is the fuel in the tank?

Could you have the spark plug leads crossed over? (mixed up).
Does the 'check engine' warning light come on?
well I have completely changed the fuel in the tank and have moved on to high octane 95 well the Plug leads are in order and thanks i have located the O2 sensors the biggest problem here with these Australian cars here are that they are very technical and there parts are also not easily available and any more Ideas on what could be wrong with it
I would be looking at the fuel pressure regulator to start with If there is a tiny crack in the diaphragm it will suck fuel into the manifold Will it only do it on start up?

Mechanical parts should be easy enough to get hold of in Saudi - I have no trouble here in the UAE. Mechanically it's standard GM stuff, so any decent supplier of US auto parts should be able to get them.
