Pod filter

Guys i want to get a pod filter for my VY s.

What i want is a Pod filter with extended piping so it will reach the box.\

Anybody know where i can this?

why not just get a high flow for the standard box..... are you gonna put the pod inside your box...... you'll need to box the pod and have CAI or its useless using a pod if ite just gonna suck hot air from inside the engine bay...

Yeah i have found a good aftermarket CAI system, but i liek the sound a pod filter gives to my car. and i want to mount it in the stock box to get the air from the CAI

Choose the right size pod carefully. Finding one that will fit perfectly in the airbox will be a bitch.. And then getting it in will probably require cutting the airbox and some sealing..

It would pay off though..

I put a friends one on for a test, i sat it outside box basically resting, just tp hear it, and honestly it makes a HUGE difference in sound, it sounds amazing. That is why i want a pod filter

I agree, I fiddled around and put a pod on my work car(1988 nissan skyline) while I wait for my commodore and the sound difference is amazing. It sounds totally sic!!

I hate the sound..I prefer a quiet car..

It's also a bitch when you're at a booze bus.. And you hear this huge sound coming from the pod..

You have to chuck it in neutral and rev it to 1200.. Or brake and accelerate, very gently..

I've done the 2hole mod to mine but kinda like the idea of a complete pod system... (TB - Shielded pod)

would anyone have some pics of various pod filter mod options? cos i wouldnt mind tryin one out on my car aswell. i would just throw one in where the box is but as someone mentioned, it would be pretty pointless... wat are our options?
