VY Headlights

Will Series 1 Exec lights fit on a Series 2 Exec and vice versa. Same question regarding SS lights too?

yes vy exec 1 and 2 will fit they are the same and same with ss,the ss lights are diff look tho with the inner bezel thing blackened.

What the hell?!?! seriously some people are retarded . They are the same headlight in every aspect, as Jeffro pointed out even the VY SS headlights will fit just has the black surround in them.

I know that i didnt say that i was saying that. My mate is arguing that they wont fit and im telling him they will cos i have them on my car but he still wont believe me. And yes he is a retard

I've got a VY Series 11 Calais on high beam the lights are acceptable but on low (dipped) I'd be just as well of with a kerosene lamp.
Is it normal for vy's to have poor lighting when on dip

It's the projector style lights. Same problem on Dad's Statesman. Get better bulbs.

I have Hella Plus50 bulbs and they seem fine on low beam. You can't put higher wattage bulbs in as they will melt the plastic that the reflector is made of. That is why the Plus50 and Cool Blue range have been released. I recommend against Cool Blue as they are useless in the wet.

i just bought black SS headlights and where the parker bulb on the tear of the light is, the long black support on my old lights have snapped anyone have idea where to find these extentions in bris? also whats the best blue bulbs for those sorta headlights *non projector*??
