Has anyone upgraded the standard alarm in their VY?

What alarm did you go for?

G'Day. I upgraded mine several months back. Utilises existing immobiliser and central locking. Has a battery back-up, siren, glass breakage, etc. Cost me $349, and was installed on site. I got the last item on this page. Make sure that whatever you get complies with AS3749.1, and is a category 4. That will qualify you for an insurance rebate of around $35.

Ok cool. I might give Strathfield a try as the company that did VY Acclaim's upgrade is based in Perth.
