Default X-Force Exhaust System

I have a stock 2003 Commodore, with a set of 18s, but no other mods. Appart from lowering it, what else can i do to make it look ok, without looking like a complete bogan? Also, getting an X-Force Dual 2.5 Big Bore Exhaust put on monday, anyone know if this will make much of a difference sound and performance wise? Thanks

2.5" is ideal v6 commodore size, or so they say, i have a 2.5" system on my car and its a smooth low sound, love it

Yeah go for it mate. I did a twin 2.5" Mandrel on my VYII SS, stock is twin 2 1/4".

Not much difference in size, but makes a world of difference to performance, even more in sound. It's like steroiding your car. Makes me realise stock holden exhausts are just poo.

Go for it, no Commodore owner ever regrets getting a free breathing, great sounding exhaust.

HOld on. did you say a twin 2 and a half inch.

That is an overkill for a stock vy 6 cylinder. You will LOSE low end torque if you put that big a system on it.

I have a vx s pac and i put a single 2 and a half inch on and i had a slight power increase higher i the rev range, but still lost just a little low end torque.

Id say to big for a stock 6
