Normally it would go through the filter in the airbox...

Theres a filter in there mate..... The three screws you see hold it into place.... Its a long skinny filter...

You can actually see the black rubber part of the filter in either side of the metal strip held in by the three screws...

Yup sure does have a wide skinny K&N Filter infront!.. no way I'd be running a CAI without a filter.. that'd just be asking for trouble lol..

Mate that looks wicked. Where did you get it from? Is it hard to get around Sydney?

the only thing i could suggest is catch up with another person, with a otrcai for a gen 3, and see if everything will line up. the alloytec does use a airflow meter so u will have to modify the otrcai to fit it, but i cant see it being a big job, a little time and your done.

There are some intakes getting around just for 1/4 runs that are an ali scoop with no filter. Powertorque also sell an 'off road use only' OTRCAI that does not have a filter and is only for the strip.

All OTRCAI's for road use have a filter. Generally K&N or BMC. Some brands are mafless only, some brands can have the maf retained. There are many options these days.
