when i first got my series 1 vy it was the middle of summer and damn hot. i went through the electrics with holden and cleaned the fuel system from tank to injector (over kill I know), and it still shook. would idle alright, then shake, couldn't figure it out. and never did it while the tech was in the car. anyways my trusty local bloke informs me the leads are very close together and have a habit of jumping spark, particularly when there hot. suggesting two remedies, 1 separate the leads to prevent cross fusion and 2 test each of the black jobbies (the three things the leads plug into) on the front of the motor to find the problem one. done by using an entirely new one (or try one off a commy that runs nice) and test each of them in turn to find the trouble maker. hope this helps, my first lot of holden techs just tried to fleece me...the dealer working on it now has bent over backwards to get it right.. cheers
