Should I Be Worried About This Noise??

Howdy,

I have a VY S 5 Speed Manual done approx 85,000kms. Lately I have noticed an interesting noise. It sounds like a stuffed bearing. Seems to happen when I'm ideling down a hill in gear (2nd, 3rd or 4th) or just crusing in 3rd. I dunno if its the Gearbox or sumthin on the motor or what.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

have had a sound similar to what you describe and it turns out to be the diff!!!! holding won't honor it under warranty so I am fighting the bastards now. can't drive my car for the last week and it's pissin me off. if you bought it new get the diff replaced pronto dude!!!

Hey cheers for that I will look into it more. Doesnt seem as tho its coming from the rear but ill defenetly check it out.
