Default VY Accliam Series 2 Drivers Seat

    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the drivers seat in the VY Acclaim.

Ever since we got ours (about 2 months) I can't seem to get the seat into a position that feels comfortable and I get a pain in the lower back after about 20 mins of Driving.

Just wondering iof any one has had any similar experiences.

    Cheers

We have an April 2003 VY Series 1 Acclaim, and the drivers seat on it is great. No problems at all.

    Hi all,

Thanks for the responses to my post.

The Car is going back to the dealers this week so they can check out the Auto Transmision. It seems to be slipping a little and the kick down needs adjusting.

The seat is still not right (I have found a possy that is a little better but still not right). I am going to get the Service Manager at the dealership to check the seat out and see if he can find anything wrong with it.

    Cheers

    Default No Luck

according to the Service Manager the performance of the gearbox is normal. Will wait for the 9mth 30,000 km service and see what happens then.

The seat is still the same although I seem to be getting used to it. Wont let anyone move because I am scared I won't get it back again. Not as bad as it was before. Must be my body trying to tell me not as young as I used to be 38 years old and feel like a 100.

Guess it's time to start saving for a VE SS.
