VY ecu locked?

Hey guys first post so here goes. I am looking at doing a few mods to my 03 vy acclaim v6 and have been told that the ecu is locked and and can`t be chipped, tuned etc, and that it could only handle small mods such as exhuast and air filter. I basically want to put a cam bigger throttle body and shift kit the auto. Sorry if this sounds stupid.

Speak to Chip Torque in Queensland. They have cracked the ECU and can programme them. They also have distributors in most states.
