Can rims be repaired?

im thinking about buying a set of vz ss rims but they have gutter scratches on them. Does anyone know what it costs to fix them? Or better yet is anyone selling them?

yes rims can be repaired, it can be done by some panel beaters, and i think there is a set in the for sale section

$20 call out fee plus $135 for each rim.

Thats high, pretty sure you can get it done for half the price. Friend got it done, excellent job aswell. Sorrry but dont live in Melbourne!

yea it was a bit much. I guess i wont buy the rims then. i like the vy calais rims better anyway.

Thats a bit steep, i got mine done for $40 a rim had gutter scrapes on them. Im in Brisbane.

yeh when buying my rims i was told that repairs on rims vary depending on the type of metal used on the outer side of the rim, where gutter scratches happen.
certain metals are harder to fix apparently, and the metal used varies from rim to rim depending on the look its going for.
this is just what ive heard though, so who knows
