Default possible mods for my calais??

hello all!

Firstly i would like to say hi, and say that this is a great forum and has helped me alot in choosing my superecharged V6 VY calais s1.

Now that i got this great car i want to change the wheels (not a fan of the 16" on the car) i was thinking of getting the wheels for a WH stateman international S2 like the ones in the this link:

http://www.jhp.com.au/enlarge.php?im....jpg?imagealt=

Also i would like to get a spoiler, i was thinking one like they Vy senator because i dont want anything to big or "loud" as it its for a calais. would anyone know where i could gey a good replica from or suggest another spoiler that would look good an my car?

Thanks alot

G'day mate and welcome!
My brother had a s2 calais and the cv8 monaro wheels he got set it right off.
Spoiler??, i personally don't like them so i can't help you with that one!
Got some pics of your car, would be great to have a look.
Cheers mate and good luck with it!

I like the calais with no spoiler, it spoils it! I like VY Calais with rims and lowered, and if its V8, very nice

Depends what you're after I guess.

If your buying a calais, it already has a subtle body kit on it anyway as it's designed to be a car of elegance and refinement more so then something with a massive body kit on it.

The calais is quite an an attactive car stock. All I would do is put 18" mags of some kind on it (VZ SS or VZ CV8 Monaro), lower it and tint windows. Oh I would change the exhaust too if it was a v8

I have a VY Series II Berlina which I have done similar things to. I chose a berlina since I didn't want leather trim.

i allready have the calais, in regards to the body kit all i was going to fit was a spoiler.

GzGenII, your berlina looks sweet as mate.

Hmmm you want the bootlip spoiler? they aren't too bad but any spoiler looks out of place without the rest of the kit, I'd cut my own nuts off first before I put a spoiler on my Calais! but that's just my opinion on the spoiler debate. enjoy your new ride.
