Default Door actuator - help!!

Looks like the door lock actuator on front passenger side has taken the knock.
Have taken off door trim and had a good look at the mechanism with mirrors etc....Question: Is blue plastic cover just a cover or part of mechanism. If just a cover how do I remove it. Hope to remove/replace actuator myself.
There doesn't appear to be any screws.
Just out of warranty unfortunately.
Can anybody help please.

You dont have to touch that blue cover to remove the lock/acuator.
Just remove the rod end clips from the lock, I believe there is only 1 you need to remove from the front l/h door-thats the inside door release 1. The outside door handle release will come out when you drop the lock down, after removing the 3 torx bolts holding the lock in place, then just unclip the wiring connector.

The lock seizes and causes the acuator motor to burn out, so if you are able to repair the motor, it may happen again, unless you replace the lock.
