I have cut coils off the spring to shorten them.
I have also heard of blokes heating the spring in one spot with an oxy while having a chock under the car and letting the spring bend. I havent done this myself so i dont know if it works or how good it works.

Both good ways of totally screwing your suspension. And highly illegal to boot.

LOL! That's sooooo dodgy! Although I have done the spring chop in my first car when I was young & dumb (& poor!).

Remember the good old lowering blocks? I also did that to my first car. They're legal to sell, legal to buy but illegal to fit to your car! Go figure...

It called resetting your (original) springs.

Most suspension mobs can do this for you.
