BCM upgrade

I have fitted a Series 1 Clubsport dash to my VY1 acclaim. The gauges all work ok & the side windows lite up, but don't display any info. I asked the Tech expert (The Pimply Faced Youth) at my local Holden dealer & he said if I upgrade my BCM with a luxury level (V6) BCM all the functions should (!?) work. Would this effect any other existing functions e.g. engine management, alarms, is the existing wiring compatiable, etc. Can anyone help? My car is Dec 02 V6 S1 Acclaim auto. As an aside, I now have a shift indicator buzzer & a gear stick with change gear sign in the centre window @ redline. The fella I bought it says it is set for V6 Auto. Thanks.

the dash isnt configured correctly, for starters is setup as a manual.lol
the BCM has nothing to do with the dash functions missing, id say the dash is faulty

Thanks Bob, Can it be changed to an auto? Can the Tech2 diagnose the dash functions or do I need a specialist?
