Jacked VY
Hi all,
Thought that Title would get ya clicking......
Well I do need info on jacken VY's but in the legal manner of cause,,,
Back in the old days they made cars tough and you could trolley jack them up from the sump, diff etc.
Is it still possible to trolley jack up the VY by the engine sump or diff or will the jack come up through my K&N air filter?
Thanks all for you time.

Your owners hand book will show you the location points to jack your car up from. But your cross members should be strong enough to place a trolly jack under.

jacking from the diff is fine, with the front of the car theres a crossmember ( either just before or after ) the sump and thats fine to jack up the car also.

Ok, cool.
I tried it with the diff for the day and it was sweet as.
For jacking the front I have jacked it just before the sump, there is a black steel welded bar running from left to right and she seems pretty happy there.
I looked in the owners manual Kavel thanks but it only says to jack the car on the sides where the jack points are under the doors.....
