    Default VY SS CAI kit

    Hi guys,

I've just signed up, as I've just put down a deposit on a 2004 VY SS Series II, immaculate condition, very low mileage covered, dealer certified etc.

I previously had a 2003 VY Chevy Lumina badged SS in the Middle East in 2003, and after driving that, knew I had to have another one if I ever moved down under

Anyway, I'm eager to get some minor mods done, and was looking at the Induction Kit, Holden VY V8 5.7 GenIII (Big Mouth) [CAI007] from Reckless Motorsports. Any comments ? I assume its best to put a performance filter in at the same time (any recommendations)

    Cheers guys,

    Jon

I'd steer clear of SS inductions, I've only ever heard bad things about them. (As in they don't work!)

Seeing as you're in Perth, you might want to check these guys out. They'll get you sorted!

ive already got these on 1 of my customers cammed cars, and there are others on the market, which are if not better.

The design of this otr with the maf is poor as the maf sits up against the filtr, is a poor design for air required to flow through the filter, hence causing a restriction.
