Got a 2003 vy executive. When turning right at full lock I have a real loud knock which seams 2 happen whenever the suspension drops over bumps in the road. Don't think it is a metal on metal sound but still quite loud and only ever on the left hand side. Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, could they shed some light on this issue?![]()
Hmmm....
Have you got lowered springs in it by any chance? If so, has the car been up on a jack or hoist lately?
i'd check all the bushes and the link pin in the stability bar...the stability bar runs along the front and then bends up to the two wheel hubs...if one wheel drops and the other rises a bit and your bushes are buggered or nut is lose then it will pull hard and make a clunk noise...just check for loose stuff behind the tire...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
PM with any info.
K frame / chassie bolts. My VT did the same thing and just needed to tightenthe to large bolts up. Hope this helps.

strechomatic.....you got it right in one. Had a look and it appears 2 be the bushes in the bar that runs back toward the wheel hubs. THANKS FOR THAT.
I Think Sits Ur Bush Links. Get Them Checked If U Dnt Know Where They Are.
