I don't know what size the speakers are, but traction control is the thing that stops all the fun. Iturn mine off every time i start the car

Ok, there are a couple of things that "restrict" wheelspin. Firstly, the anti-abuse system (not sure if this applies to manuals or not), this seems to cut the translation of torque to a smoother curve, rather than just an all out "dump-on-the-diff". Secondly, traction control, which senses a loss of traction in the wheels, and sort-of disengages the power; someone else may be able to describe it better, not-an-abba-fan, im looking in your direction

Next up is the suspension, FE2 is a harder suspension, which helps to prevent wheelspin, not a lot, but it does help. Prime reason is weight transfer, as stiffer suspension allows for a stronger dampner effect.

Finally, LSD. This is an option on S pac's, and most second handers dont come equipped from factory. This helps to stop wheelspin by "evening" out the distribution of power to both wheels constantly.

As for speaker/stereo Q's, ask Phreddy, he's the number 1 guy to talk to on this subject.

Gees, I thought there would be a few more inventive answers:
    1. Too small
    2. Common sense...
    3. How much can you afford?

    But seriously,
    1. I think the front and back door speakers are all 6inch, plus two tweeters about 2 inch up in the front dash.
    2. Traction control is the fella you are thinking of. I did not think torque control (anti abuse) came out in the VY's?? I have a manual which will light up whenever I want (which is not often).
    3. You may want to consider a 5 channel amp with the "Phreddy" conversion on your stock head unit. I did this and have had no complaints for well over 18 months now, including an input for the I-Pod. I bought a 800 watt amp which is too much for me and a big drain on the stock battery, which I upgraded.

OK, i recently just got a VY S1 Spac, and i have also changed the stereo.
Firstly, the speakers in the door are all 6'' (as stated above). I have a Pioneer GM-6200F amp, 4 channel, which amplifies my 12'' Kenwood sub and my front pioneer only. my rear door speakers are powered by the deck..

    I run a DEH-P5850MP Pioneer headunit.
In my opinion, this is all you need, i listen to R'n'B and it handles the big Bass really well.I paid around $900 installed for the lot...

    Attachment 37803

    Attachment 37804

by the way, the S-Pac dont come standard with 6''x9'' in the parshell shelf.
