Not really a problem.. Well nothing to worry about dude!

You can disable this feature in the options menu. When you first turn the ignition on your car the display will say 'Options Menu'. You then need to press the arrow buttons to access this feature.

From there you can scroll down until you find it and disable the horn tones when arming your alarm system.

Hope that helps... If i haven't been clear someone else will explain

Thanks very much for that, believe it or not I've had this car for nearly three years but was unaware of the options thing. Looks like I hardly know my car!!
I just found out the problem, the passenger door lock does'nt depress. It's staying open. I've had this problem before and the door actuator was replaced under warrenty. I'll take it back to the dealer 'cos it's been only 15 months since it was replaced and the reciept says 2 years warranty on parts.
    Thanks for the reply.

No worries mate. While your there pick up an owners manual if you dont have one. All the detail about guiding yourself thru the options menu is all there

Isn't the horn let you know there something wrong with the locking system or alarm. I remember reading it somewhere. I mean it just can't suddenly happen, something has ti make the horn beep.

Yeah, if a door isn't shut properly or you have left your light on or similar problem. Check your doors are firmly shut.

I also had this problem on and off lately for first time, its the passenger side front lock not pulling down and locking when central locking is activated.

Essentially those little beeps are warning you you car is NOT secure
