    Default Remove fron bar n mesh help

    Hey all i got a VY s2 Spac with fog lights and i bought some black mesh from autobahn today... and was wondering if someone could tell me..

    how to remove the front bar..
    and how to put the mesh on like wats best way to keep it on glue bolt or else..

    There is a screw at the top section of the wheel arch on both sides, Remove this screw, then each of the sides is clipped in, pull out while lifting in an upwards direction, should unclip it, then I think the rest of the front section is just held on by clips. (Maybe other members can confirm)

    thanx will hav a look at it tonight or tomorow..

    PS: n e one who has put mesh on did u dril holes or clips? which is safest way without dmging the bumper

    There is also a screw at bottom of each wheel arch.

    Although you could always do what I did to remove front bar. First you need to park your car on street in front of your house every night until some fool runs in to you. If done properly, said clips will break yet still leave front bar in place. Then go out for dinner to a place with a really steep driveway into car park. Upon exiting car park catch bottom of front lip on road. Now if done correctly, 200 metres down the road, front bar should detach from front of car. Worked for me!

    hahaha nice way bravotwozero hehe..

    went to holden dealer today just to double check on some stuff see what they say...

    he said basicly the same as you guys...
    then he told me they could do it for me guy said $50 and im like awesome and thats putting mesh in n hes like na $50 take off bumper n put back on 30min job... then i askd how much to put mesh on hes like anotehr $50... im like eh na i do myself $100 to take off bumper n put mesh on :S thats a bit $$$
