Strip down the side of the Vy

How is the black strip down the out side of the car stuck there???

Is it hard to remove?????

It's held there with doble sided tape and also sikaflex (used for w/screens)
to remove you'll need a razor blade or knife and flat blade screw driver or flat lever bar then lever gently and cut glue and tape.

Should be real thin tape across the top ot the moulds. I have seen it done before but a little paint got ripped off.

You could have it masked off and sprayed the same colour as the car.

If you do get the moulds off with out damaging the paint then just some metho should remove the sticky resdue from the clear coat.

mine were held on with double sided tape and sikaflex. sikaflex is an absolute bitch to remove, there are no chemicals i know of that are up to the job. since its proving to be so hard to get the sikaflex off, im going to spray mine the same colour as the car and stick them back on

i painted mine same colour as car, if you dont mind having them on there; its the safest way to not rip the paint off the door skins.

Hit the Sika with a hot air gun, should let it peel right off unless it's some other type of branded stuff which is a bit different to what we use to use on the boats...
