Default Totally Flat Battery, Cant get into car

G'day Guys and Girls
My battery is very very dead, I noticed the gradual decline in quality over the last few months. And being away from work did'nt help. However now the key does'nt work at all. Pressing the buttons does nothing. I've even tried putting the key into the keyhole, that even does'tn work. Which means I cant get into to pop the bonnet in order to replace the battery.
So do I get RACQ out ? Can they actually fix it?
Has anyone else ever had this problem?
Cheers .

Hey People
Disregard my last post. I got in.
Yeah you have to force the key towards the front of the car. you feel and hear the lock pop open.
Have fun.

Hey

That has happen to a mate of mine, he couldnt open the door with his keys and the battery was gone in the key thingo and all he did was spray some CRC or RP7 in the key hole and now it works 100%. (though he has a VS).

You should never spray any liquid into the keyholes in the VY's, too sensitive. Graphite powder is fine, but it can be messy.
