pedders sports rider suspension`

hey was just wondering if any one here has got the pedders sports rider suspension put into their VY

i am thinking either lovells lows all round all pedders SR.. got quoted for the pedders round $1200 installed + wheel alignment also they are able to lower it to any height and write to RACV saying that its legal properly done so i wont loose insurance..

they quoted me round $240 lab + Wheel alignment with no springs for if i went lovells because they do not stock lovells so i would need to go somewhere and find where they are sold..

please if you could all put in your input..

I have a set off pedders extreme x coils, shocks and rear airbags in the for sale section. Do a search on my name, I haven't made that many posts and it will come up. It also has my views on what the feel and handling was like. they came off a VZ SSZ ute.

I lowered my VZ with Pedders sports ryders 1 inch lower than FE2... i paid around $280 fitted.. i then sold my FE2 springs for $60 on Ebay so i am very happy

The car's ride isn't much harder but it does handle alot better !

Same as SSZ-57L, lowered mine and ride is great and handles great too.
Got my springs for $150 and fitted them myself, quite easily done too.

awesome so pedders im guesing are pretty good... this is wat i was quoted for

- 4x sports ryder coil springs
- 2x sealed strut
- 2x Gas sports ryder
- Fitting
- Wheel Alignment
total= $ 1,219.20

does that seem fair price? for wat im getting?

Why do you need new shocks ?
How many k's is on your car?

I only changed the springs as my car had barley 10k on it and they do last for a few years.. get some other quotes just for springs fitted to your car..
That does seem very expensive...

I changed my shocks as well. The ride is noticeably better with springs and shocks. So if you are willing to spend the extra $$$, I'd recommend it.
