    Default VYII HSV Intake

    Hi All,

Firstly, I am a VT2 Senator driver, so my appologies for crashing your forum! :P

Under recommendation I am looking at getting a VY2 Induction setup for my VT2 Senator. I had a look at the pros and cons of this versus the (seemingly trusty) two hole mod, and i think id like to try and keep it as factory looking as i can.

I have three questions im hoping someone might be able to help me with

    1) Is anyone able to put forward any reasons why the HSV VY2 induction would be any better than the two hole mod, or vice versa?

    2) Given that im pretty keen on the factory look of the HSV version, does anyone have an idea of what it might cost me?

    3) Do any of you kind guys / gals have a VY2 HSV Car (clubby / senator etc) that they may be able to take a few photos of the induction setup for me?

    Many thanks in advance

    Dave

I've done the two hole mod and it still looks absolutely standard to look at. I'm not sure what you mean by "the factory look", given that you can only see the two hole mod once you've taken the airbox cover off.

*EDIT* Unless it's different in a VT?

The fact that it is hidden under the cover is a very good point, and one that I had considered.......I guess my "anal" (not the way you'e all thinking) brain makes me think down the track to resale, and the desire to have it looking done "factory".

I think it is the same on a VT.....
