The SC VY i would presume. The VE SV6 i test drove before buying the XR 6 felt so slow, i don't think the engine like the little extra weight.
If the VY were not to win i'd be surprised, as for top speeds, who knows, go to a track day and find out.
Which would be the faster one off the mark, the Supercharged VY V6, the VZ SV6 or the VE SV6? What would be the top speed for each one of these?

Yes Definatly the VY S/C-6. The VY S/C has 375NM Torque compared to I think around 335NM with the Alloytec190. Even though the VY S/C has only 179KW Power, the torque of the VY and Gearing will always see it launch off the mark and win. Not too sure of top speeds. I know my VY S/C hammers off the line and is great to just over 100Km. Then tends to Dive off.
Also, the VY S/C can be easily modified to gain more boost buy putting a smaller S/C Pulley. And of course other mods.
Mine has 200RWKW and 415NM Torque (Dyno'd). Keeps up with the HSV Clubby's 257KW, up to 100Km/h.![]()
Yeah the SC 6's go way better than a alloytech but just a pity they sound like a cat orgy
Yeah, Iwould think the VY SC, I've just had the standard M90 snout replaced by the Yella Terra snout and smaller pulley system to increase the boost, OH baby hang on!!!
So good power on the Eco S/C, piety it sounds not the best!
