yeh like the finished intall. im curious as to what it would look like as it apears that holden have tried to make it dificult to change the head unit.

Here are some photos of my install the stero mould will be painted the same colour as the dash very soon, i will take some more today for you as i have to tidy up the install i did in a rush!. and here is a helpfull tipif you have subs in the parshall shels take them out this gives you more bass in the cabin

Here are a few more pics for 96vscommodore, I have put in my new spacer which was painted the other day. the colour was custom made to suit the dash colour but there is no clips on it so i have to pull it back out and make some or try to tie it to the shell someware.

I have now secured the spacer to the factory bracket, I had to make some brackets to hold it on to place. Took a while but now it does`t jump on my lap every time i plant it.

I fitted a Kenwood double din unit with MP3 and USB, I'll post a pic when I get one for you...pretty straight forward job using a $29 double din surround and a kenwood to ISO wiring adaptor for about $15.

Also installed a relatively inexpensive bass tube with integral amp...not quite ass kicking...but the kids still get an acoustic massage in the back seat if I'm not careful...lol

The surround facia was bought through a locall installer but the wholesaler is DNA Designer Audio - Car Audio & Accessories: dare to compare . . ., not sure if they retail..

yeh i put a pioneer headunit in my vy ss, i used the pontiac gto facia kit for mine so it sits flush, i'll get some pics 2moro when i finish it of so you can see that too, calais did you have any problems with your aerial staying up when you changed from radio to cd?
iv got this problem on mine, i going to try and sort it out 2moro with a switch, but if you have a better way this would be very helpfull, thankyou in advance.

Installed this system about 3 years ago. The screen tilts out and forward to load a new DVD or CD then returns to the position shown.
