wont make much of a difference, is easy to remove, and is a hefty fine if caught without it. if you really want the gain from having no Cat, go buy a high flow one

Dont take of ya cat off, with out replacing it with a high flow cat, like said if you get caught huge fine, and i dont think it will make a hugh difference anyway, have you got extractors and 2 1/2 cat back exaust ??

Removing the cat will make it worse, fitting a hi flow will make no difference either. Extractors and a decent system will be the best and probably the cheapest mod you can do to improve driveability. No huge power gains, but it will change the torque curve and make the car more responsive.

Unbolting it is a 5 min job. I smashed out the guts of the blocked one on my VN and although power was better than before, I seriously doubt it is any better than a functioning one however it has made an echo chamber that sounds crap. I'll be putting a new hi-flow cat on the new system when it goes into the other car.

Not to mention the fine when you get caught as others have said.
