    Question blowing alot of headlights

just wondering if anyone has had problems in blowing alot of lowbeam L/H side headlights? i've gone threw 2 in the past 4 months... im running philips blue vision globes on a standard VY Exc headlight. The R/H side is still running the original globes that come with the car and has never blown. Now and again i'd get in the car and at night as i have the headlight switch on auto and the L/H wouldnt come on. I'd pop the bonnet and take the cover off, wiggle the whole blub assembly and it the light would come on. Is there a bad earth or a power surge coming from somewere?

    G'day
as far as a power surge, normally you should see the lights flare, and to blow the same light would be a real co-incidence.
The only other thing i thought off is are you running hi wattage globes IE 130/90 as they can build up heat and pop the filaments, even worse if ya hit a pothole.
    Regards Phillip
