No, that I know of. I was looking into this a couple of months back, the only ones that are projectors are the berlina onwards inc hsv. You’re talking about the ones with the teardrop yeah? The only ones are the exec and SS ones; all the lights after these in the VY range loose the tear drop.

Atm im painting my front bar again. Had a look at how hard it would be to get rid of the tear drop so I could put the square projector type in, and its not that hard. Saves having to change the whole bar. Not sure about wiring thou, if they’re compatible.

As stated, berlina, calais, clubsport models have the projector headlights.
As far as i know they're not available in the exec/ss models.

    Here's a pic...

I think those headlights are sweet... but if the indicator was more styled to the VZ HSV ones it would look better...

Can you take the guts out of Berlina/Calais/HSV lights and adapt them to a Exec/SS style headlight?

they look good i admit! but to do that in the real world would cost alot of time and effort. why go threw all that when you can get a projector headlight already? its one of a kind though something that we're all trying to acheive

Hi guys, I just bought a VY II Berlina which I understand has these projector headlights you are talking about here. It's a great car but I have to say it has the worst headlights I've ever had. Low beam is terrible, very dull. High beam is much better but I think they are all out of alignment. I have tried aligning them better which has imporoved them but low beam is still shithouse.

When low beam is on the projector lens seems to be cloudy and it seems to have 2 layers - the tear drop part and a flat piece in behind it. Are these known to build up a mist that effects the brightness and can they be cleaned?

I have gone to my local Holden d/ship and they say it's a complete sealed unit and quoted me around $326 for each unit, RIDICULOUS! I haven't changed the globes yet but will do so and hopefully they will make a difference. Also I enquired about getting the arctic blue globes but they tell me Narvo don't make them for Berlina's. I tried at Repco and Auto One.

I'm interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar problem on low beam with these projector lenses?

I must say i didn't have that problem with my berlina but i did change the globes regardless and it seemed to make an improvement. I just went for the narva white ones, can't remember the exact name.

Theres nothing wrong with my VYII berlina's lights. Just sway the bulbs over and see if that makes a difference.

Cheers guys. I was worried there my be a problem with these lights in their design that caused them to fog up after time. I will change the globes when I get it back from having a gas conversion and see if that makes a difference and I'll let you know.

Just updating from my original post on the dull low beam on my Berlina. I replaced both bulbs and polished the headlights which has resulted in a big difference. There was a significant difference just from replacing the bulbs. The old ones had a slight haze over the bottom half of the bulbs. I paid only $16.50 for each bulb (H11's) from Auto 1 here in Perth which were around $40 each everywhere else.

What made me polish the headlights was someone else mentioned it on here but also there were hard water stains on the chrome surrounds on the grill and boot which came off with polish so I figured the headlights would be stained with that also.
