    Default lowering

    Hey Guys,

just wanting to lower my VY11 S and been told something different from a few places. 2 different pedders say i don't need the camber kit since it came from factory with the adjustable rear end though 1 place the price is 500 the other 700. for springs and labour only. another suspension shop quoted me 460 and insists i will need a camber kit so add double that again. what is the story??

    cheers

As Jesterarts said, if you are going to go much lower than FE2 you really need a camber kit.

correct me if im wrong, but the VY does have the camber adjustment as standard on the rear, mine does anyway, so you aren't going to need the kit.
    no idea bout prices but

Yes you will need a kit if you're going lower than fe2 anyway.

There is adjustment on the back of VY's but it is limited. Once you go lower than FE2 it goes beyond the adjusters range.

Yeah, VX series 2 has a certain amount of adjustment too... but its only enough to work for the lowerst suspension its designed for...fe2.

Since "sickhg" has a VY S which already has fe2, its safe to say he's goin lower than fe2, thus will need a camber kit!

    Jenga73, you are corrected...
