hail damage

my car has a huge amount of damage caused by hail the size of large golf balls to small cricket balls.. the photos dont show nearly as much damage as there is..

bad luck mate. is it covered by insurance? thats going to cost a lot to fix looks like nearly every panel is dented

the only thing without a dent of some sort are the Left doors, L 1/4 panels.. so pretty much the left side.

i doubt insurance will cover it because its an "act of god" so im suing the hell out of god..

because almost every panel is damaged. it might be a write off because i remember hearing about when this happened before and all the show cars at the dealerships got written off. either way... one very damaged car

haha we had lots of expensive cars out in the lot today around that area ... just what we needed, a massive rush for panel repairs just before Christmas

Holden panels are cheap, real cheap, so I doubt a VY would be a write off.

As for suing God isnt there a movie starting Billy Connoly where he sues God because his insurance doesnt cover something because its an "act of god"

the car needs a full respray. I was wondering if since its through insurance can i just get my own panels and just get insurance to cover the respray? So that way i can get the panels i want.

You sort that out through whoever is painting the car, but yes you can normaly do that.

quick update. Not gonna bother to get different panels.

$8500 damage. Not expecting to get it fixed till about feb next year. Nearly every panel needs a replace.
