VY S vs BA XR6

ok. serious question, please nobody give an answer based on which badge they prefer, which car would win: a drag, a race (circuit).

a vy s-pac manual series 2

or

a ford (dont hurt me) ba xr6 manual mark 2

XR6 would win on both.

I have a BF XR6 as a work car, great car. So much smoother than the holden 6's. The Ford handles so much better on corners.

Go the BA. I reckon it goes heaps harder than the Alloytech. It also looks a ****load better than the VY.

For some reason it's become the perfect P plater car though.

Not sure you would want to take either cars to a drag or circuit though. It's a bad thing to base a decision for a non racecar on.

A workmate has a BF, that runs consistent 14.5 1/4's...No Mods!! Freek!!

I can Beat a BAXR6, but I have spent some cash on mine!!
Engine and suspension!! so yeh Stock for stock, XR6 would win overall...
When my car was stock, I ran a few BA XR6's, and always came out on top, but only by a very small margin, Manuals are more fun to drive, but slower 0-100!!

My 2 cents....

Unless you're an insane shifter like my mate, its possible to get to 100km/h very quickly in a manual.
