I have a 2003 vy executive series one on dual fuel. It was converted at 95k and is at 120k now. A few weeks ago it started making a weak ticking noise clicking noise when accellerating at about 2000rpms but would dissapear when reving any higher. Now, a few weeks later this weak sound is as loud as F%*K and can be heard from miles away and at no matter what rpms its revving at! Has anyone had a problem like this?
Ahh lol, sounds lyk u got a big problem there. So far i havnt heard of anyone here having the same problem, so u shuld really take it to a mechanic if your having problems
is the air-box still intact lol, hasnt been blown apart, when was the leads and plugs replaced last? ecotecs get real fussy being on gas when it comes to leads and plugs,
id suggest doing that and dont forget to reduce the spark plug gaps to 1.2mm,

Could be vacuum leak, intake manifold gasket, i would go changing your heads straight away, could be a lean tune on the lpg.
Lol sorry i just realised he meant headers gasket. Exhaust manifold gasket sounds safer hehe.
Friend (female) of mine had a slightly loose spark plug - not screwed all the way in......and that was the ticking sorted.
