Hey guys, found some fit rockers on the net for sale but really need to know if they are going to be ok. They are to fit ecotec but im a bit worried about the ratio on them being too high?????
they are 1.97..... but they do come with 15/16 Pushrods which apparently makes it better????? im not entirely sure on this so if you guys could shed some light pretty soon that would be awesome. Just worried about doing damage to the engine.
Thanks alot
FIT rockers come with the pushrods because the later ecoted head castings were poor and left casting flashes around the holes for the push rods.
the better option is to get the Yella Terra 1.95:1 rockers. for starters the're actaully new rockers and are true roller rockers were as the FIT rockers are just remanufactured holden rockers (i.e. used and rewelded to give the higher ratio) the YT rockers also don't have any issue with the casting flashes like the FIT rockers do
go YT mate. much better really. check their section under the sponcers. ifyou get em mention oyur a JC member and i think you get a better price![]()

Im also looking to upgrade, my rollers, but what sort of a difference do they acctualy make?
The Y/T Rockers with Pushrods, seats, and new bolts etc came as a Kit, and i picked mine up for $600 over the counter, may have gone up since then.....
They are your best Bang for buck, do an exhaust and CAI and they really start to show off.....
