VX R8 or WH Grange Rims on a Cove VY
Hi all,
Just want to know if you guys think that VX R8 or WH Grange (both champagne) Rims would look ok on a Cove (green/Blue) VY?

Was just thinking thay they may not go with Cove as the green that was on HSV's then was a lot darker!

also i just bought rims from wheel king and they are great to deal with, rims took about 22 hours from time i ordered them to the time i had them on my car, MELB to ADL

I can get a used set that have been repaired/re-sprayed for $800
they will even let me interest free them with a new set of tyres!

hey mate, maybe ask someone to do a photoshop of your car and the wheels you want on there (try get a beter photo other thatn the wheel king one though) to see what they look like.

Mine were in perfect condition. Not even a scuff mark from having tyres fitted.
It only cost $200 to have them powder coated.
Ask anyone who doesn't like cars, just the fact your contemplating getting new wheels is a 'waste'

Look great from what I can see!
Come to think of it, there is a powder coater over the road from my other half’s factory which they get to do work for them, so I could get them done pretty cheap I reckon!
Calais' are great mate!
How about a set of these 19inch ANZ Tazer wheels. i love the new look to my Calais.
I can have any 7" wide rims but if I want to go 8" (18" +) I can only put on HSV rims as my insurance company won't cover me otherwise!
You may say change insurance companies! I rang around and you will find that most won't cover you if you change wheel sizes! There must be so many people driving out there that may not be covered if they have a prang!
I have also noticed on some tyre seller's websites that they have a disclaimer saying to contact your insurer prior to purchasing wheels!

Hey there, I'm with AMMI with full car insurance and they cover me for every thing I have done to her inc the 19" wheels. And I've done a bit of stuff too and all they ask is that I phone them and let them know when I have done something so they can record it down.

My insurance wont cover my wheels. My car is still insured to have the wheels on, i just get standard wheels if the car is stolen.

Your not reading it properly. My car is FULLY covered. I'm allowed to have the wheels on, but due to the cost of replacing new HSV wheels, if the car is stolen, i only get stock wheels.
An accident thats my fault, i'm still fully covered.
