hey all ....
this is my second post in this forum and so far this forum roxx..
okay,
I have a 2004 holden commodore with lowered suspension running on 20" mags........... the concern is that it gets too bumpy sometimes... and i really have to break down on most distortions on roads...... so whhat do u think i must do to improve the comfort?? and yeah what is the best way to get rid of the wobbly steering while not accelerating on low speeds like 80-90 kms?
Just a tip though, you might be better off posting in the VY section. You managed to get this one in the VZ area.
Thread moved.
thanks....
You could look at new shocks but at the end of the day it will make little difference.
Rough ride quality is the sacrifice you make having a low car and 20" wheels.
Not with 20" wheels obviously, but smaller wheels that are suitable for non low profile tyres will help.
Put some stockies on to see the difference.
Yeah thats what i am thinking of.... obviously lol i cant fit factory tires on twenty'z.... but i am thinking of putting factory wheels and tires..... but my concern is that, would i be able to have those fitted on a lowered suspension?? hope they dnt look stupid...like factory wheels on a low az car...lol

what colours your car??? 18 inch VY SS rims look good one wagons and they still fill the guards better than stockies... have about an inch and a half of rubber on them which absorbs some of the shock from the road
its a hot red commodore sy ii executive.... on 20" deep dish types...absolute chrome..
well just new shocks and springs... but still the ride is not as what a stock factory is... i mean i knw i woudnt get a bump free ride in it but still.... im thinkin off what 2 do...
i'll post some pics tommorow fer sure...
how do i upload pics?![]()
