speakers in VYII Berlina

Hey anyone know what speakers they have? Seems I have two in the front, two (one in each door) rear and none on the rear shelf???

Just wondering as I am thinking about upgrading the system in my berlina ... but will keep the HU as it has all the crap on the dash and arial switches etc... that I dont want to loose..

Front door speakers are definately 6.5inch single crappy paper cone speakers. (Had a look the other week)

The rear door ones are I believe are 6 or 6.5inch similar to the fronts.

There are also tweeters on the dash right next to the A pillar.

You could also fit 6x9's on the rear shelf if you want, but you need to buy the calais speaker grills to cover the speakers and run the wires to them. Any more Q's PM me.

Also, when I get around to doing my speakers, i'll more than likely be looking at getting reasonable splits for the front, and getting 6x9's in the back. That what I believe will achieve a reasonble result without going to subs and amps. However if i'm still not happy with that, i'll just amp all four channels and it should be enough for me.

Sweet... I might go buy some new speakers for the doors at least ... the sound from the stock stuff is not to bad ... but I would like it a little better <Grin>

Yeah i have heard the back ones aren't too bad. So try fonts, then if your not happy still, go some 6x9's.

wouldnt the front speakers be better. i will check on tuesday when i replace all the speakers. im not putting in 6x9s just going i 12" sub instead.
