Default Replacing ecotec with l67.

Just wondering what needs to be done to fit the l67 into a vy v6 auto? Is it worth the extra cash? and any ideas where you would pick one up from? ive looked all over the net and havent had much luck finding one...

Cheers - vyjoshy

not worth the money to change everything over cause they are different.

If you rebuild the standard l36 with forgies then hit it with a raptor supercharger its gonna be the same money for built reliability, other alternatives are 4.2 come stroker block.

hey its a huge waste of cash and time changing your engine. just sell your car and buy the one with the engine you want.

rofl, sif you would waste 20k building a 6 to still have a slow car.

Mate if yu are hell bent on having a fast car, sell your current, go buy an LSX based Commodore, do the work and smile. It is pointless making a 6 fast it just costs too much money. As for being different, not sure why people use this excuse because every second person has a turbo or charged 6 these days.

Do you really want to spent in excess of 15k to have a car that gets whooped by unopened LSX's?

MAYBE someone finds a super 6 more enticing compared to a v8 (omg!), I know I do

Yeah, depends how much its gonna cost, but some times you can just find the eaton M90 setups around, if you can get it all done cheap then do it, but i wouldnt spend too much on it.
Stock they rnt quick, but with lots of cash they can be... but then like minux is saying, for the same cash u could have an even quicker LS1
