a guy on proutes is fitting a custom kit to his VY SS. here is a few progress pictures







his plans are as follows

1. Shaved as much as I practically can (except door handles and fuel filler, I like my chrome door handles and I want the filler there in case I sell it one day without the race fuel cell).
2. Now including shaved mirrors.
3. No body line
4. Wide moulded body
5. Intercooler intergrated into the custom front bar
6. With the new engine plan there will be METAL OUT THE BONNET!!!! YEAH BOY!!!!!!!
7. Chrome everything, bonnet lip, wipers, mirrors door handles, sh!t if it can be chromed its on there.
8. Inside the guards have also been cut out to fit 22-24inch wheels.
9.Then finally it will be covered in Candy Apple red paint with a tan leather interior.

nice ute, if you want wide body, can you fit cross8 flares and smooth the seem where it makes contact to the metalwork and colour code it?

that reminded me, theres 2 wide body wagons around my area, i think they've just grafted tha cross8 flares on em, doesnt look too bad, tuckin like 22s under em, ones silver with tha engine hanging out tha bonnet, n tha others black (still in progress that one)

they belong to a wheel shop down here

The flairs on the wheels are a bit too abrubt for me - reminds me of a VE for some reason.

Does look a bit like the VE but i think it's just cos of the massive wheel arches...

Don't like how low it sits, but i like the front and sides!
Might paper mache something to my exec now...

It isn't mine, but at one stage the guy had a supercharger in it before he stripped it down, so I'd say something similar.

Should also add that he is looking at putting some 22 inch 180 spoke wires on the ute.
