Hey guys, just wondering...
Sometimes, if I dump my VY commy, motor and gearbox seem to act like its having a major flat spot, the motor refuses to rev and the car seems to back off so much that it doesnt go forward very much, then it seems to move off gradually, sort of like a flat spot...
Is this the traction control kicking in? Or is it the sign of a bad/worn gearbox for example, doesnt seem to happen with the traction control off, although a little more testing is needed to be sure, any insights, thanks in advance!
Not quite a datsun..
it's the traction control, reducing power and/or applying the rear brakes
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

is it a manual or auto?

supercharged 6's dont come with a factory manual as they (in testing) were too quick and beat the v8's (but i think they had higher boost too) im 99% sure u answered your own question saying it doesnt happen when the t/c is turned off...but u can tell if its the t/c as an orange light flashes on the dash when it kicks in.
