Default Idle stupidly high - Help...

Hi All,

Have a VY acclaim, 03 model and I've been having problems with the idle. The car's stock but it's been advancing the idle to up to 2500 rpm.

This is fkn annoying to be honest and it can get a bit on the dangerous side plus it's really starting to chew through the fuel.

I used to be able to pop the accelerator in neutral and the idle would drop back down but this morning that wasn't working... My only guess is that the automatic choke is sticking...

Has anyone had this problem + anyone know how to fix???

Thanks in advance,
Dave.

if it was the iac valve, it would be idling higher in neutral than in gear.
