I hooked up two using the stocko unit. at the moment im using a HI/LO rca splitter (converts the signal from the rear speaker wiring to RCA.) i am thinking about modding the head unit but im happy with it for now.

    Please see this thread...

Blaupunkt low-level outputs? You betcha! :D

I've done MANY of these, and if I say so myself it works quite well. (I also do Aux Input for the standard Blau if you're interested - to hook up MP3 players etc...)

i fully know and realise that its not the best way to go about it but im not keen on ripping half my dash apart at this stage, not only that but ripping the head unit apart and soldering, no thanks. when i get the courage in a little while when im sick of it.

phreddy can do it. you can mail you h/u to him and he will do the work and send it back to you. you would be without a stereo for about a week.

I'm definantly keen enough to get these 15 watt paper speakers out of my doors and put a real system in. and more so if i know i can keep my steering wheel stereo controls

yeh u can do it, my vy had it done buy the previous owner(not the best install but they did it) pulled it out and re soldered all the wires nice and neat with heat shrink and took out the rca adaptor thing, then got a nice pioneer unit 2nd hand(only 12 months old) when my g/f updated hers for an ipod type one, then got the aerpro kit and did it all properly, but yeh it can defenatly be done, good luck if you decide to do it.
