    Default My VY to low or not???

    new to the forum so hi
    i have a vy series 2 acclaim v6
    lowered it on sunday 3inch rear 1.5inch front do you recon the back looks to low should i get 2inch lowered i find i scrape coming out of my own driveway now hehe have to take it on an angle

    before and after pics attached....i hope

    depends, some people like that look. i prefer the front to be lower, but really its up to you.

    i think its nice, my vt is 2.5" lower in the rear and i scrap if i dont take angles on most bumps. You get use to it.

    oh also debadged the back on sunday recon i should lose the holden emblem to?? maybe make way for a bow tie hmmmm

    i think it would look much nicer without it. That rear badge is held on with rivets so you will need to have the holes welded and the boot resprayed.

    i think some nice rims, no chrome, and a twin polished exhaust tip with some tint will set this thing of perfect

    tint is already dark enough with windows up, dont want to much trouble from boys in blue as for rims just waiting for the right set to come along brother recons he can get me some vy ss rims but not for a few weeks so stuck with them for now or he could always be a nice brother and give me his vx gts rims 19's would look nice on my car hehe

    very nice vy you have there ...after looking at your picture relised i forgot to remove the v6 badges from under the side inicators guess thats a job for this weekend

    looks nice that low...im still amazed at how any car looks a million times better when they are low...any car i would buy that's the first mod i would do.

    FE2 is low enough for me, anymore would not be practical because mines a daily. if it was more of a weekender i would slam it!

    Think you should lower the front just a tad more.

    i agree, i prefer cars lower at the front. when the back sits lower, just looks like the cars ready for take off rather than looking agressive.

    lower the front to level the sills.. back is same as mine not too low at all

    Just a bit off topic here . When you go that low on a VY do you need to get a rear wheel alignment . My son has a VY and is thinking of lowering his .

    Not really that low, but lower the front more, front lower looks heaps better
