    Default wiring

    Hi all I am installing a charging unit for a deepcell battery in my vy sedan and as i don't have a wiring diagram does any body know where in the engine bay there is a wire I can connect to that is powerd by acc that is easy to get to that will not damage anything and also I want to run a 12 volt outlet wire from the same area.

    you might need to invest in a test light and back probe wires in the fuse box, failing that the next best thing would be to tap into the accessories wire on the head unit, if you go the head unit way, the component your running will then work on the accessories switch, ie open the door with the key out - if thats a bonus

    Thanks for that i also wanted to make sure that when and where I hook it up to its not going to harm the computer in anyway

    if you want to draw as little power as possible off the cars factory wiring, use a relay, for the signal wire all you need is a scotch lock if it is inside the car or splice and solder if its exterior

    i only recommend the use of scotch locks if they are used inside of the vehicle
